Tom Morabito brings to his clients nearly 20 years of investor relations, capital markets and finance experience. Prior to founding Park Avenue, Mr. Morabito led the in-house investor relations program for Paetec Communications (NASDAQ: PAET). Park Avenue's larger clients have included exclusive, full-time engagements with DDR Corporation (NYSE: DDR) and The TJX Companies (NYSE: TJX).
At Paetec, Mr. Morabito launched the formal investor relations program for one of the nation’s largest competitive telecom providers and was instrumental in increasing the company's investment profile, institutional and retail ownership, and sell-side equity research coverage. The company was recently acquired by Windstream (NYSE:WIN) in a $2.3 billion transaction.
Prior to his career in investor relations, Mr. Morabito spent ten years as an equity research analyst with BB&T Capital Markets, KeyBanc Capital Markets, Longbow Research, and Susquehanna Financial Group. Largely focusing on the consumer and telecommunications sectors, Mr. Morabito's research was highly regarded and he was consistently ranked as a leading analyst in terms of stock picking ability and earnings estimate accuracy. In 2007, Forbes Magazine named him the top analyst covering the Food sector.
Mr. Morabito received an MBA in Finance from Yale University after earning a BA in Economics from Vassar College. He has received various securities industry certifications, including the Series 7, 63, 66, 86, and 87. He is also a longstanding member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).
