Senior level executive with nearly 20 years of experience. At Park Avenue, you will get the knowledge and experience, on a daily basis, of an executive-level investor relations professional. By contrast, if you hire a larger firm, you’ll potentially pay exorbitant fees for an inexperienced account manager who could be assigned to dozens of companies.
We will become experts on your company, and if we aren’t already, on your industry. While we have extensive experience in several sectors, if we haven’t yet worked in yours, we will quickly get up to speed on the ins and outs of your industry. We will also become experts on your company as investors and analysts come to us with questions, not only freeing up more of your time, but also helping the investment community understand the story.
Finance-based approach to IR. Likewise, we will dig deep into the financials, be able to walk investors and analysts through the numbers, and answer their detailed financial questions, again freeing up time for busy CEOs and CFOs. For an analyst or portfolio manager, having an IR contact who cannot answer any questions is one of the more frustrating parts of their day, and trust us, it happens all the time. Park Avenue will make the entire process easier on them, and on you.
Best practices strategy. In addition to our founder’s in-house experience, our sell-side experience will be extremely valuable and highly applicable to leading an effective IR program. Over the years, we have developed deep relationships with dozens of covered companies in a variety of sectors and we will apply those best practices to your company.
Broad institutional (buy-side) relationships. Our contacts will be essential in getting buyers and increasing liquidity in your stock. Our founder has built up an extensive list of contacts in his 15 plus years of interacting directly with institutional investors. We have far-reaching relationships in the obvious money centers such as New York and Boston, but also in territories such as the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, West Coast, and Internationally where there are very high quality investment firms, many of which are much longer-term in their investment horizon.
Extensive sell-side relationships. In short, we will get your company sell-side coverage. Our founder was a sell-side analyst for 10 years; he speaks their language, and intimately knows what makes them tick. The vast majority of IR firms have no capital markets experience, and we believe that this is a key differentiator for Park Avenue.
Wide-ranging banking contacts. If your company is looking for capital we can put you in touch with a wide variety of highly knowledgeable investment and commercial bankers, from regionals and boutiques to the largest Wall Street firms.
We will not be spread too thin. We maintain a select list of client engagements in order to guarantee a keen focus on your company’s needs. Watch out for IR firms with too many clients as they will more than likely become overwhelmed with the workload. Once again, inexperienced staffers will likely be responsible for the relationship, the product will suffer, and company management will be left to correct easy mistakes.
Lower cost structure, but definitely without sacrificing quality. Our firm is based in Rochester, NY which by definition keeps our overhead low, allowing us to pass along these savings to our clients. If your IR firm is located in a high-rent district, it is your company that is paying for that high rent, and all of the additional costs associated with it. At Park Avenue, you’ll get the highest level of IR support at a reasonable cost; all clearly mapped out so that there will not be any surprises.
Active NIRI membership. Our founder has been an active member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) for several years which allows Park Avenue to stay on the cutting edge in terms of regulatory updates, corporate governance issues, industry best practices, and other topics relating to the successful practice of IR. |
